I just recently picked up a hot tub for free the other day, and I found it considerably difficult to find places that sold used hot tub parts, or even new hot tub parts for that matter. I’ll admit that I did get the thing for free, so I did want to spend the smallest amount fixing it up. It’s a good idea to keep your eyes open for free things and deals every now and then, because after just a little bit of digging and after several phone calls, I was able to find the parts I needed for only about twenty bucks.

I found a new pump that was working from another hot tub that I saw someone giving away for free. This hot tub had a pump that was practically brand new. These are things that can cost hundreds of dollars, and I just picked it up from someone who didn’t know it was in their tub. That, or they just wanted to get rid of all of it. Anyway, I installed the pump that I got for free, and then purchased some jets offline for around twenty bucks. Now, I have a working hot tub and all it cost me was twenty bucks and the couple hours making calls and driving around. The best part about it though, is that I could probably sell it for about five hundred bucks or more. So when you’re looking for ways to find hot tub parts, just check the free sections in the classifieds or online classifieds for used ones and part them out.
